Cheriton – annual commemorative march

The annual march to commemorate all those that fell in the 1644 battle will take place on Sunday 27 March from The Flowerpots Public House at 1030.

Memorial of the Battle of Cheriton

Lord Hopton’s and friends will leave the pub car park at 1030 and march via the village war memorial where we will lay a wreath to those fallen in the two world wars (and all those since) before continuing to the 1644 memorial stone where a memorial speech is given.

There is no charge for this event, anybody wishing to march with us are very welcome, but please email the organiser first for details.

There will be a social event for the regiment and friends on the Saturday. If you wish to be involved please email the organiser as things have changed at the pub and numbers are restricted.
