Cheriton – annual commemorative march

Unfortunately the Flowerpots is closed due to the corona virus situation so this event has had to be cancelled.

The annual march to commemorate all those that fell in the 1644 battle will take place on Sunday 29 March from The Flowerpots Public House at 1030. This is also the day of the battle 376 years ago.

Memorial of the Battle of Cheriton

Lord Hopton’s and friends will leave the pub car park at 1030 and march via the village war memorial where we will lay a wreath to those fallen in the two world wars (and all those since) before continuing to the 1644 memorial stone where a memorial speech is given.

There is no charge for this event, anybody wishing to march with us are very welcome, but please email the organiser first for details.
